Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this “Sword of Convallaria” thing lately. It’s a game, you know, one of those tactical RPGs. But what really caught my eye was this whole Tarot card system they’ve got going on. I mean, who doesn’t love a good Tarot deck, right?
So, I started by digging around online, trying to find a physical deck. I saw some folks talking about buying them, but I couldn’t find a legit place to actually get one. Seems like they’re not really a thing you can buy, at least not yet.
Undeterred, I dove into the game itself. I pre-registered on my phone – super easy, just a click of a button. Then I started playing. The game starts you off in this little town, and you’re basically running these small missions. It’s not some huge open world, which is kind of nice, keeps things focused.
Now, about these Tarot cards. In the game, they’re called “Whispers,” and each one gives you a different boost. Like, I found one that reduces the damage you take from area-of-effect attacks by 20%. Pretty sweet, right? There’s another one that boosts your damage by 20% when you’re attacking a single target.
I spent a good chunk of time just experimenting with different Tarot combinations. There is a whole world of possibility here that I am just beginning to understand. They really add a whole other layer to the strategy.
Here’s what I did for my own little project:
- Downloaded the game: First things first, got the game on my phone.
- Played through the beginning: Got a feel for the gameplay and how the Tarot system works.
- Started collecting Whispers: I made it a point to try and get as many of these in-game Tarot cards as I could.
- Took notes on each one: I wrote down what each card did, what it was good for, and some good combinations.
It’s been a fun little deep dive. Even though I couldn’t get my hands on a physical deck, exploring the Tarot system in “Sword of Convallaria” has been a blast. I’ve got pages of notes now, and I’m still figuring out new strategies. If you are into RPGs and Tarot, you should definitely give it a try.
