Okay, so, I saw this headline the other day: “Raquel Gonzalez and Braun Strowman Split.” And I was like, “What? No way!” I’m a huge WWE fan, and I’ve been following both of them for a while now. They seemed like such a power couple, you know? So, naturally, I had to dig deeper.
First thing I did was hit up Google. I typed in “Raquel Gonzalez Braun Strowman split” and a bunch of articles popped up. Most of them were just reporting the news, but I found a few that had some juicy details. Apparently, Braun himself confirmed the breakup back in August 2023. I guess I missed that memo.
Then, I went down the social media rabbit hole. I checked out both of their Instagram and Twitter accounts. It looked like they unfollowed each other which is never a good sign. What’s worse, Raquel got some health issues which caused her to have to rest.
- August 2023: Apparently the month they called it quits. I was totally out of the loop on this one.
- January 1, 2024: Raquel announced her health issues and has to take a break.
- 2024: Braun makes a big comeback after an injury. No mention of Raquel, though.
After that, I started piecing things together. It seems like they were a thing for a while, but it just didn’t work out. There were even some rumors about them being engaged, but it looks like that wasn’t true. Braun’s back in the WWE now, kicking butt and taking names. He just had a big win over Drew McIntyre, which was awesome. Raquel, on the other hand, has been dealing with some health problems. She’s got this thing called mast cell activation syndrome, which sounds pretty serious. I hope she gets better soon.
Anyway, it’s a bummer that they split up. They seemed like a good match, both being these huge, strong wrestlers. But hey, it happens. Relationships are tough, especially when you’re in the public eye like they are. I’m just glad they’re both doing their own thing now. I’ll definitely keep following both of their careers, and who knows, maybe they’ll find love again someday.
