Today, I bumped into some stuff about this lady, Xisca Perelló. You know, the one who’s married to the tennis guy, Rafael Nadal? Well, I got curious and decided to dig in.
First off, I found out her real name is Maria Francisca Perelló. Sounds formal, right? But people just call her Xisca. They met when they were teenagers. Imagine that, growing up and then marrying your teenage sweetheart! They were introduced by some mutual friends in their hometown, Mallorca, which is some island in Spain.
Then I started looking into her life. Turns out, she’s from Mallorca too, just like Nadal. She’s not just a pretty face, studied at the University of the Balearic Islands from 2006 to 2010. I checked her LinkedIn, ’cause who doesn’t these days?
They have a kid now, in 2022. Can you believe it? Xisca Perelló and Rafael Nadal, parents! It’s like a whole new chapter for them. I guess family life is treating them well.
What I thought was kinda cool is that she’s been with Nadal for ages. Even before he became super famous. She’s not one of those people who just came in when he hit the big time. That tells you something about her, right? Loyalty and all that.
I spent a good chunk of the afternoon reading articles and stuff. It’s like, behind every successful person, there’s someone else who’s a big part of their story. For Nadal, it seems like Xisca is that person. You always hear about the famous people, but not so much about the ones supporting them from the sidelines.
It was a good day. Felt a bit like a detective, piecing together someone’s story. I mean, we see these celebs and athletes all the time, but we hardly know anything about the people closest to them. Xisca seems like a genuinely interesting person, not just “Nadal’s wife”, you know?
It got me thinking about how much we don’t see. We get all caught up in the glitz and glamour, but there’s a whole lot more going on behind the scenes.
Some quick facts I jotted down:
- Real Name: Maria Francisca Perelló
- Nickname: Xisca
- From: Mallorca, Spain
- Met Nadal: When they were teenagers
- Education: University of the Balearic Islands (2006-2010)
- Kid: One, born in 2022
Anyway, that’s my little adventure for today. Hope you guys found it as interesting as I did. It’s always cool to learn something new, especially when it’s about people you thought you knew, but really didn’t.
