Okay, so I’ve been digging into the Central Michigan Chippewas football team lately, trying to get a handle on their depth chart for the upcoming season. Let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey!

One site might have one guy listed as a starter, while another would have him as a backup. It was a mess! I even saw a few names on those lists that weren’t even on the official roster. What was up with that?
Then I stumbled upon a few forums and message boards where die-hard Chippewas fans were discussing the team. These folks were really into it, breaking down each player’s strengths and weaknesses, and debating who should be starting where. I spent hours reading through their posts, trying to piece together a more accurate depth chart from their insights.
Here’s what I gathered after all that digging:
- Central Michigan, they’ve got a pretty solid history. Apparently, they have the 24th highest overall winning percentage in NCAA Division I. That’s something, huh?

It was a lot of work, but I finally came up with something that I felt was a pretty good representation of the Chippewas’ depth chart.
Of course, things can change. Players can get injured, they can improve, or they can transfer. But based on my research, I think I’ve got a decent idea of who’s who on the Central Michigan football team right now. I’m gonna keep updating my spreadsheet as the season gets closer.
