Jon Moxley Return WWE 2023, Real or Just Rumors? What We Know About Mox Going Back.

Alright, so I saw this thing online about Jon Moxley possibly going back to WWE in 2023, and I got curious. I mean, the guy’s been doing his own thing in AEW for a while now, right?

So, I started digging around. First thing I did was check out some wrestling news sites. Found this one article on Fightful Select, and the guy there, Sean Ross Sapp, mentioned that Moxley’s actually signed with AEW until like, 2027. That’s a long time! I was shocked because I remembered he was wrestling without a contract for a few months after that whole All Out 2022 mess. So, that made me think, why would he go back to WWE anytime soon?

Then, I went down this rabbit hole of watching old interviews with Moxley. There was this one with Bleacher Report where he talked about his career and stuff. Also I remember reading about his time off to deal with his personal issues. He was gone for a few months in late 2021 and came back to AEW in early 2022 looking all refreshed and ready to go.

I also looked at what people were saying on forums and social media. Some folks are still holding out hope for a WWE return, talking about dream matches and all that. But a lot of others were like, “Nah, he seems happy in AEW, and he’s got a good thing going.”

My Thoughts

After all this digging, here’s what I’m thinking. It’s not impossible, I guess. Wrestling’s crazy, and people jump ship all the time. But with that contract until 2027, and how things seem to be going for him in AEW, I’m not putting any money on a Jon Moxley WWE return in 2023. Or even anytime soon, to be honest.
