I wanted to get a decent pair of pro wrestling boots. It’s not like I’m going to be a pro wrestler or anything, I just wanted them for a costume. So, I didn’t want to spend a fortune. I started out just browsing online to see what was out there.
I checked out some of the big sports stores, but no luck. Then I hit up a few websites that sell wrestling gear. Prices were all over the place, some were way too high for what I needed. I found one pair of boots for like 300 bucks. Natural leather, they said. Black was the only color they had. Too much for a costume!
What I Found Online
I stumbled upon this one site called FISTRAGE. They had these wrestling shoes, looked pretty good, mesh and rubber sole, for both men and women. The price wasn’t bad, around 60 bucks. Another brand, ASICS, had some for about 70 bucks. Free shipping, too, which was a plus.
Then I thought, “Why not check Amazon?” It’s a mess there. You type in “pro wrestling boots” and you get all kinds of stuff that’s not even close. It’s like they just throw anything up there. I did see some boots that looked okay, but the prices were still a bit high for a one-time thing.
The Handmade Option
I remembered seeing custom, handmade boots online. I went back and looked at those again. They were nice, but I realized that was just overkill for me. They were listed for around 250 bucks, some even more. I mean, they were cool and all, but I just couldn’t justify spending that much.
After looking around, I decided to go with the FISTRAGE ones. They were the most affordable, and they looked decent enough in the pictures. I placed the order, and now I’m just waiting for them to arrive. Hopefully, they’ll be good enough for what I need. I’ll let you guys know how they turn out.
- Searched online for pro wrestling boots
- Checked major sports stores and wrestling gear websites
- Found FISTRAGE and ASICS boots with reasonable prices
- Explored Amazon but found it cluttered and overpriced
- Considered handmade boots but deemed them too expensive
- Ordered FISTRAGE boots and awaiting delivery
I learned that finding the right pro wrestling boots on a budget takes some digging. You gotta sift through a lot of overpriced or irrelevant stuff. But in the end, I think I found a good balance of price and quality. Let’s see if my gamble pays off!
