Today, I’m gonna share my experience collecting ascension materials for my Rover. You know, I just started playing this game and it’s a bit overwhelming, but I’m getting the hang of it.
First off, I learned that these ascension materials are super important to level up characters and weapons. I didn’t know that at first, just thought stronger weapons will drop eventually. It was a hard lesson. I spent the first few days just wandering around, enjoying the scenery, and fighting some monsters. Then I hit a wall where I couldn’t progress any further. My characters were too weak, and my weapons weren’t doing enough damage.
So, I started digging around and found out about these ascension materials. It turns out you need them to level up your characters and weapons once they hit a certain level cap. Who knew, right?
I found some guides online, thank goodness for those, but they were a bit confusing at first. They talked about normal bosses and weekly bosses, and I was like, “What’s the difference?” It took a bit of trial and error, but I eventually figured it out.
- Normal bosses are the ones you can fight anytime, as long as you have the resin, which is like energy.
- Weekly bosses are, well, you can only fight them once a week.
The thing is, these bosses drop different kinds of gems, and you need specific ones for each character. It’s a whole thing, let me tell you. For the Traveler, the player character, it is relatively simple. But still, I spent a lot of time figuring out which boss drops what.
I also learned about this material conversion thing, where you can convert materials into other types. That’s pretty handy when you have a ton of one type but need another. There’s this thing called Dust of Azoth, I have no idea how to pronounce that, and it lets you convert stuff. It’s not a one-to-one exchange, though. You lose some materials in the process, but it’s better than nothing.
Then there’s this whole schedule thing for farming. Some materials are only available on certain days, so you have to plan your farming accordingly. I found a schedule online that someone made, and I’ve been trying to follow it. It’s a bit of a pain, to be honest, but I guess it’s worth it in the end.
I’m still pretty new to this game, but I’m slowly getting the hang of it. It’s definitely a grind, but it’s also pretty rewarding when you finally ascend a character or weapon and see their stats go up. It is not easy, and not very fun, to be honest. But at least I can deal more damage now. This is just what I did, and you might have an easier time. But I’m just sharing my experience here, folks. It’s a tough journey, but we’ll get there!
