Okay, so I’ve been wanting to make a Bray Wyatt mask for a while, ever since that awesome return at Extreme Rules. I wanted to capture the creepiness and all the details, you know? So, I finally decided to go for it. Here’s how it went down.

Getting Started
First, I gathered a ton of reference images. I mean, screenshots, close-ups, everything I could find of the mask from different angles. This was super important to get the proportions and details right.
The Sculpting
I started with a basic plain white mask that I picked up and added some clay to build it up. It’s just some air-dry clay. I used my fingers mostly, and just kept adding and shaping until it began to resemble the Fiend’s face. I made sure I made the eyes extra wide and sunken in. This part took the longest, gotta be patient, you know?
- Added clay to build up the cheeks and brow.
- Smoothed out the clay as much as possible.
- Used some simple tools to make the lines.
Details
I used some photos and carved in the wrinkles and cracks in the mask. I am not a good painter, so I spent a lot of time to do the carvings.
Finishing Touches
Once I was happy with the overall shape, I let it dry completely. And that’s pretty much it! I might add some elastic later to make it wearable, but for now, I’m just displaying it. It turned out way better than I expected, even if I do say so myself.
It was a fun project, and honestly, not as hard as I thought it would be. Just takes some patience and a good eye for detail. If you’re a Wyatt fan, I definitely recommend giving it a shot!
