Okay, so I’ve been a huge Cody Rhodes fan for a while, and I saw this “American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes” DVD pop up. Naturally, I had to grab it. Figured I’d share the whole experience, start to finish.
Getting My Hands on the DVD
First things first, I ordered the DVD. I decided to order this DVD online. I waited a few days, kind of impatiently, tapping my foot and all that. Finally, it showed up at my doorstep.
Popping It In
I ripped open the package – carefully, of course, gotta keep that case in good shape. I grabbed my remote, turned on the TV and DVD player, and slid the disc in.
- Navigated through the menus. Pretty standard stuff: Play Movie, Scene Selection, Bonus Features.
- I hit “Play Movie” first. Gotta watch the main event before diving into the extras, right?
Watching the Documentary
The documentary started. I was immediately hooked. I watched Cody’s early career. It was so cool to see his whole journey like this. I leaned back, totally absorbed. I paused it a couple of times, mostly to grab a drink or some snacks.
Checking Out the Bonus Features
After the main documentary finished, I jumped into the bonus features.
- I clicked on a few interviews. Always interesting to hear more behind-the-scenes stuff.
- I also watched some extra matches they included. Good stuff, some I hadn’t seen before.
The Aftermath
Finally, I ejected the disc and carefully put it back in its case. I sat on this experience for a while.
Overall? Totally worth it. If you’re a wrestling fan, or even just a fan of a good underdog story, I’d definitely recommend giving this a watch. It’s not just about the wrestling, it’s about the grind, the passion, and the whole journey.
