Okay, so today I wanted to put together a depth chart for the Arkansas football team. I’ve been following them for a while, and it’s always fun to kind of project who’s going to be playing where.

Getting Started
First, I pulled up the official Arkansas Razorbacks website. They usually have some good info, but sometimes it’s not totally up-to-date. Still, it’s a good starting point. I also checked out a couple of fan forums – you know, places where people are really into the team and talk about this stuff all the time. Those can be hit or miss, but sometimes you get some good inside scoops.
Building the Chart
I started with a simple spreadsheet. Just columns for position, then rows for first string, second string, and so on. Quarterback was easy – KJ Jefferson is the guy, no doubt. Then I moved on to running back, receiver, and the offensive line. It got a little trickier there, with some guys battling for spots.
- Quarterback: KJ Jefferson, and the backup spot…
- Running Back: Lots of talent there!
- Wide Receiver: New faces stepping up!
The defensive side was even tougher. I spent a good hour just trying to figure out the linebacker situation. They’ve got some experienced players, but also some young guys who are really pushing for playing time. Same deal with the defensive line and secondary – lots of competition.
Making Some Guesses
Honestly, a lot of this is just educated guesswork. I watched some of their spring game highlights and read some articles about the practices. But until the season starts, you never really know for sure. Some guys will surprise you, and others might not live up to the hype.
The Final Product (For Now!)
After a few hours of tinkering, I had something that looked pretty decent. It’s definitely not perfect, and I’m sure things will change as the season goes on. But it’s a good snapshot of where things stand right now. It is also good to track the team and players.
It’s fun project as a fan, It is never a bad thing to do the research and track the team.
