Okay, so I wanted to put together the 2017-2018 Golden State Warriors roster, just for my own records, really. I’m a huge Warriors fan, and that season was legendary.

First, I started by digging around for info. I figured there were tons of sites out there with the roster, but I wanted to make sure it was accurate.
Finding a Reliable Source
- I went straight to the source. I try my best to aviod data from some random website.
- I double-checked on a couple of other sports news sites, just to be safe. They all matched up, so I felt pretty good about it.
Getting the Players Down
Once I had the source, I started pulling the names. I didn’t want to miss anyone, even the guys who didn’t get a ton of playing time. I basically copied and pasted them into a simple text file on my computer. No formatting, just a plain list. Here’s what that looked like:
- Stephen Curry
- Klay Thompson
- Kevin Durant
- Draymond Green
- Zaza Pachulia
- Andre Iguodala
- Shaun Livingston
- David West
- JaVale McGee
- Nick Young
- Omri Casspi
- Jordan Bell
- Quinn Cook
- Kevon Looney
- Patrick McCaw
Putting it All Together
After I had all the names, I decided to organize it a little. I wanted to remember the key positions each player played.
Then I just saved the file. Nothing fancy, but it’s there whenever I want to look back at that amazing team. It was simple, but it’s exactly what I needed!
