Okay, so I’ve been thinking about getting a new tattoo for a while, and I’m a huge CM Punk fan. I started to collect all kinds of his tattoos, you know, for inspiration. It’s not like I’m gonna copy him exactly, but I wanted to see the styles, the placements, all that stuff.

The Research Begins
First thing I did was jump on the internet, naturally. I scoured tons of images, fan pages, even some wrestling forums. I found some pretty good shots of his tattoos, but it was tough to find really clear, close-up pictures of everything. Some are always hidden, you know.
- I made use of websites that gather pictures.
- I browsed a large number of pictures and information.
- It cost much time, but with much efforts.
Putting the Pieces Together
After gathering a decent amount of reference images, I started to figure out what I liked. I looked at the “Pepsi” logo, the cobra, the “luck” lettering, all the details. I analyzed each tattoo’s style. For example some are very bold, like the traditional Americana style, while others are more like simple lettering.
Designing My Own
With all that information in my head, I started sketching out some ideas. I played around with different elements, thinking about how I could make it my own. I’m not trying to be a copycat, but I definitely wanted to capture that same kind of energy, that rebellious spirit. I want to have my own style, too!
Finding the Right Artist
Next step, and this is a big one, is finding the right tattoo artist. I looked at portfolios online, checking out artists who specialize in the styles I’m interested in. I mean, you don’t want someone who only does fine-line florals to do a big, bold traditional piece, right?I must make sure that he/she is the right one.
The Consultation
I booked a consultation with an artist whose work I really liked. We talked about my ideas, I showed him the reference images, and he gave me some feedback. It was a really good conversation, and I felt like he understood what I was going * is professional.
The Final Design and Getting Inked!
After the consultation, the artist drew up a design based on our discussion. We tweaked it a bit, and then… it was time! I booked the appointment, went in, and got the tattoo! It was a bit painful,I can tell you, especially on certain spots, but totally worth it. I finally got my tattoo!
I’m super happy with how it turned out. It’s got that CM Punk vibe, but it’s still unique to me. It’s a reminder to stay true to myself, to be bold, and to never give up on what I believe in.
