Okay, so I was totally bored today and stumbled upon this “Let’s Happen” crossword thing. I’d never really tried one before, figured why not, let’s see what happens!
First, I just kinda stared at it. All those blank squares… intimidating, right? I googled “let’s happen crossword clue” to get an idea about it’s difficulty and that’s it.
Getting Started
- I looked for the shortest words first. I mean, gotta start somewhere, yeah? Three-letter words, four-letter words… those seemed manageable.
- Found a couple that seemed obvious. Like, “Opposite of ‘off’” – duh, “ON”. Filled that in. Felt like a genius.
Hitting a Wall
Okay, so after filling in a few easy ones, I hit a major roadblock. Suddenly, everything seemed super cryptic. “Make a choice from available preference”? What does that even mean?
I spent, I kid you not, like a solid 20 minutes just staring at the clues, trying to make sense of them. I even started talking to myself, which, let me tell you, is not a good look.
The Breakthrough!
Then, it was like a lightbulb went off. I started thinking about the words, like, really thinking about them. Double meanings, synonyms, all that jazz. I looked up the letters that I have already completed. And things began to click my mind.
- “Part of shoe” and the answer can be ‘Sole’. Nice!
- I figured out a few more, one by one. It was slow, but hey, progress!
Finishing Up
Finally after, maybe, an hour or two it done, I’d actually filled in every single square. I’m not gonna lie, I felt pretty darn proud of myself. It’s just a silly crossword, but it felt like a real accomplishment.
So, yeah, that’s my “Let’s Happen” crossword adventure. Total newbie goes from clueless to (sort of) competent. Might even try another one tomorrow… who knows!
