Okay, so today I decided to dive deep into the world of Seth Rollins. I’ve been a huge fan of his wrestling career, and I wanted to create something, a tribute, I guess. I wasn’t sure exactly what at first, but I knew I wanted to get my hands dirty.

I started by just watching a ton of his matches. I mean, hours of them. From his early days in NXT, all the way up to his recent stuff. I really wanted to get a feel for his evolution as a performer. I took notes, scribbled down ideas, and just kind of let it all soak in.
- First, I grabbed my old wrestling action figures. Haha.
- Then, I started thinking about maybe doing a video edit.
- I even considered writing a song, believe it or not!
Getting My Hands Dirty(Literally)
After all that brainstorming, I decided to go a different route. I wanted something physical, something tangible. I remembered I had a bunch of clay in the basement, left over from a project I did with my kid. So, I thought, “Why not try to sculpt a mini-Seth Rollins?”
I’m no artist, let me tell you. But I found a decent picture of him online, one of his more iconic poses, and used that as my reference. I started with a basic wire frame for the body, then slowly started adding the clay. It was messy, my hands were covered, but it was fun!
The hardest part was definitely the face. Trying to get his features right, his beard, his intense expression… it was a challenge. I used some toothpicks and some small sculpting tools I found in a drawer to try and add detail.
It took a few hours, and a lot of trial and error. I had to redo the head like three times! But finally, I had something that… well, it kind of resembled Seth Rollins. It wasn’t perfect, not by a long shot, but it was mine. My own little, slightly wonky, tribute to the “Monday Night Messiah.”
I let it dry overnight, and the next day, I painted it. I tried to match his gear colors as best as I could. Again, not perfect, but hey, I did my best! Now it’s sitting on my shelf, a reminder of a fun day spent getting creative and paying homage to one of my favorite wrestlers.
