Alright, guys, let’s talk about the Royal Spear in Genshin Impact. I’ve been messing around with it, and here’s my take, straight from my own playtime.

Getting My Hands on It
First things first, I didn’t get this spear from a wish. Nope, I went straight to the Starglitter Exchange in the shop. You know, the one where you trade in those extra pulls you get? That’s where it’s at. I saved up my Starglitter, and bam, Royal Spear acquired.
The Grind Begins
Now, the real work started. Leveling this thing up. I farmed a bunch of those Hilichurl masks, you know, the Common, Damaged, Stained, and Ominous ones. I hit up a bunch of Hilichurl camps, and I mean a bunch. My fingers were getting tired, I swear. It takes a lot to get it all maxed out!
- Hilichurl Masks: Those little guys are everywhere, so it wasn’t too hard, just time-consuming.
- Chaos Devices, Circuits, and Cores: Okay, these were a bit tougher. Ruin Guards and Ruin Hunters. I had to really gear up my team for these fights. Lots of dodging and weaving. I learned their patterns.
- Mist Veiled Lead, Mercury, and Gold Elixir: From Mist Grass, I use alchemy to craft it.
Putting It to the Test
Once I got it leveled up (finally!), I slapped it on my Xiangling. I wanted to see if that focus effect, the one that boosts crit rate after dealing damage, was really worth it. I took her out to some domains, Spiral Abyss, just everyday combat.
Here’s the deal, the crit rate boost is noticeable, especially when you’re building up those stacks. It’s like a snowball effect. At first, you are attacking, then, critical! Get a lot of hits. It felt good when everything was lined up.
My Final Thoughts
So, is the Royal Spear worth the Starglitter? Honestly, it depends. If you have a character that can really benefit from that stacking crit rate, and you don’t have a better 5-star weapon lying around, then it is good. It’s a solid weapon, and it made my Xiangling hit harder, no doubt. But if you’re saving up for something else, or you already have some great spears, you might want to hold off. I’m happy with it, but it’s not going to change your life, you know?
It is very strong,I love it.
