Okay, so I saw this “Stuff Magic Mascot” thing and thought, “Hey, that looks kinda fun, I wanna give it a shot!” No idea what I was getting myself into, really. Just saw some cool-looking designs and figured, why not?

First, I had to, like, actually figure out what I wanted to make. There’s tons of characters they have and I brainstormed for a bit. Finally, settled on making some cute bear.
Then came the annoying part – gathering all the stuff. I needed:
- Felt, obviously. Got some brown, and light pink.
- Stuffing. Found a bag of it.
- Needle and thread. Had that already, thankfully.
- Scissors, also check.
- Some kind of pattern.I tried to draw it.
Honestly, I didn’t download and print any patterns at the beginning. I just sketched my pattern and cut out two identical bear shapes from the brown felt, freehanding it, and hoping for the best. It turned out… okay-ish. A little wonky, but hey, it’s handmade, right?
Next,I tried to draw the shape on the paper. And cut the small parts for the bear. Sewing everything together was, let’s just say, a learning experience. I pricked my finger like a million times. But slowly, the bear started to take shape. I sewed the two big pieces together, leaving a little gap for the stuffing.
Stuffing it was pretty satisfying, though. Just squishing all that fluff in there until it was nice and plump. Then I sewed up the hole, trying to make it as neat as possible. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked.
The final touches! I cut out a small heart shape from the red felt and sewed that onto the bear’s chest. Added some tiny black felt circles for *. Done.
It’s definitely not as polished as the ones, but I’m actually pretty proud of *’s got that “charming handmade” vibe, you know? Might try making another one sometime, maybe a little more complicated next time. We’ll see!
