Okay, so today I decided to mess around with “Like a Dragon Gaiden” and specifically, I wanted to see if I could get that Momozu character unlocked. It was a bit of a pain, to be honest, but totally worth it in the end. Here’s how it all went down.

Gettin’ Started
First things first, I booted up the game. Duh. Then, I knew I had to hit up the Coliseum. That’s where all the unlockable fighter action happens. I wasn’t sure exactly what I needed to do, but I figured just playing through the Coliseum matches was a good place to start.
The Grind
So, I started fighting. And fighting. And fighting some more. It was a real grind, I’m not gonna lie. I just kept picking different team battles, trying to level up my crew and see if anything new popped up.
After a while, I noticed some special sponsors starting to appear. These weren’t just the regular folks – they were specific characters, and I had a hunch they were key to unlocking new fighters.
Making Friends (or Sponsors)
I focused on completing the requests from these special sponsors. They usually involved winning certain types of matches or using specific fighters. It was a bit tedious, but I kept at it, figuring it had to lead somewhere.
The key, I realized, was to keep checking the sponsor list and fulfilling their requests. It’s not enough to just win matches randomly; you gotta pay attention to what those sponsors want.
Finally, Momozu!
After what felt like forever (probably a few hours, realistically), I finally got a request that seemed different. it was a request about the fighter named Momozu.I made sure I completed this request, and then, bam! There it was. Momozu was unlocked as a playable fighter! It wasn’t so clearly, but I did it after all.
So, basically, the whole thing is about grinding through Coliseum battles, paying close attention to special sponsor requests, and completing them. It takes time and patience, but it’s totally doable. If I, a guy who’s not exactly a pro gamer, can do it, anyone can! Good luck and happy fighting!
