Well, now, if ya don’t know who Fred Couples is, let me tell ya, he’s one of them golfers, real famous and all. I reckon he’s been playin’ golf for a good long while, but what we’re gonna talk about today ain’t his golf game, it’s about his wife, Suzanne. Yep, ol’ Fred’s a married man again, and this time it looks like he’s found his true love. Well, that’s what folks say anyway.
Now, Fred, he’s been down the marriage road a few times before. He’s had a couple of wives in the past, but it looks like Suzanne might just be the one who’s stuck with him for good. They got hitched back in February of 2022, now, ain’t that somethin’? A real love story, if you ask me. Even though they don’t have any little ones of their own, Fred’s got a couple of stepkids from his earlier marriages. I reckon that makes him a granddad, or somethin’ like that.
Now, Suzanne, bless her heart, is a bit younger than Fred. She’s 49, and Fred, well, he’s 63, so there’s about a 14-year difference between ‘em. But don’t let that fool ya, they seem right happy together. They’ve been together for a long while before they decided to say “I do,” so I guess they figured it was time. Love don’t always go by numbers, ya know. Sometimes it’s just about finding someone who makes ya happy.
People talk about how Fred wore his golf shoes to the wedding, can you believe that? Said he didn’t want to miss his golf game or somethin’, but that’s Fred for ya. He’s always been one for comfort. But anyway, they got married in a nice ceremony, and from the looks of it, they seem pretty content. I’m happy for ’em, I really am. They say when ya find love late in life, it’s somethin’ special, and I reckon Fred’s lucky to have found Suzanne after all these years.
Now, if ya ask me, the whole thing’s a bit bittersweet too, ‘cause Fred had a rough time with his second marriage. His second wife, Thais Baker, passed away from breast cancer back in 2009. They didn’t have any kids together, but I imagine that must have been a hard loss for him. It’s never easy, losing someone you love. But life goes on, and Fred sure didn’t give up on love, did he? He went and found Suzanne, and here they are, livin’ their best life together.
And while we’re on the subject of Fred’s past marriages, I reckon it’s important to mention that ol’ Fred’s been through quite a lot. His first marriage didn’t last long, and then there was Thais, and now here he is with Suzanne. Ain’t no shame in that, though. Sometimes, people just need a bit of time to figure things out. I guess he got it right with Suzanne, and that’s what matters in the end. Ain’t it?
They don’t have kids together, and from what I can tell, they ain’t really worried about it. But Fred does have two stepkids, which means there’s a bit of family there, even if they ain’t his own flesh and blood. I reckon it’s nice for Suzanne to have a bit of company too, since it’s not just her and Fred on their own all the time.
All in all, Fred Couples and Suzanne Hannemann seem to be goin’ strong. They’ve been through their ups and downs, but they’re still goin’ at it. Maybe that’s the secret to a good marriage, eh? Stickin’ together through thick and thin, no matter how old ya are or how many times ya been married before. I’m just happy they found each other. Here’s to many more happy years ahead for the two of ’em!
