Okay, so today was the 2024 WWE Draft, and I was hyped. I’ve been following these things for years, and it’s always a wild ride seeing where everyone ends up. First thing I did was grab my phone and checked out all my usual wrestling news sites. I was refreshing those things like a maniac, waiting for any early leaks or rumors.
Getting Ready
Then I made sure I had my WWE Network subscription up to date – wouldn’t want any technical difficulties during the show! Snacks were essential too, so I popped some popcorn and got a drink ready. Settled down on the couch, remote in hand, ready to go.
Watching the Draft
The show started, and the announcements started rolling in. Some were pretty predictable, but man, there were some shockers. I literally jumped off the couch a couple of times when some of my favorites got moved to unexpected brands. I spent half the night texting my buddy who’s also a huge wrestling fan, freaking out about the picks. “Can you BELIEVE they moved HIM?!” That kind of stuff.
Tracking the Results
As the draft went on, I started a list on my phone. Just a simple thing, noting down the picks for each brand (Raw, SmackDown, NXT). It helps me keep track, especially since it gets pretty fast-paced. It is a nice overview.
After the Show
Once it was all over, I went straight back online. Checked out what other fans were saying, looked at some analysis articles, you know, the usual post-draft stuff. Always interesting to see the different opinions and predictions for what’s gonna happen next. My brain was buzzing, thinking about all the potential new storylines and rivalries.
I can say, it will be great to see what they will do with the results of this WWE Draft.
