Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into FC 24 lately, and one player has really caught my eye – Rafael Leão. This guy is an absolute beast on the wing, and I wanted to share how I’ve been using him and what I’ve found works best.
Getting Started with Leão
First things first, I snapped him up in Ultimate Team. I think I paid a decent chunk of coins for him, but honestly, he’s been worth every penny. I mean the Pace and Dribbling stats are insane, right from the beginning.
Experimenting with Chemistry Styles
Initially, I slapped a Hunter chemistry style on him, thinking that extra pace boost would make him unstoppable. And yeah, he was fast, really fast. But I felt like something was missing. He was getting pushed off the ball a bit too easily, and his finishing wasn’t quite as clinical as I’d hoped.
So, I switched things up. I tried a Marksman, to boost the Shooting and Physical. It was better. He was holding his own in challenges, and his shots were a bit more accurate, but that speed…I missed it.
Finally, I try Engine chem style on him. Bingo! The Pace are nearly full and the Dribbling and Passing are also get a great improvement.
Finding His Best Position and Tactics
I’ve been playing him primarily as a Left Winger in a 4-3-3 formation. I’ve experimented with setting his instructions to “Get In Behind” and “Cut Inside“.
- “Get In Behind”: This is where he really shines. With that pace, he just burns past defenders. It’s so satisfying to ping a through ball to him and watch him sprint clear.
- “Cut Inside”: This has been working pretty well too. He’s got decent enough dribbling to beat a man and then get a shot off.
My Overall Experience
Honestly, Rafael Leão has transformed my attack. He’s so much fun to use, and he’s consistently scoring or assisting. Even if you’re not the best at skill moves (like me!), his raw speed and dribbling make him a threat. I was struggle with the opponents which has a great defense, but after I got Leão, everything is changed! I’m still experimenting with different chemistry styles and tactics, but I think I’m starting to unlock his full potential.
If you’re looking for a dynamic winger to add to your squad, I definitely recommend giving Rafael Leão a try. You won’t be disappointed!
