Okay, let’s talk about something I did today. Just kinda messing around online, you know?

My Search Journey
So, I was just clicking around, reading some stuff, and the name Alexis Rodriguez popped up. Can’t even remember where now, maybe some article or a comment thread. Anyway, the name stuck for a sec. Then, this specific thought just kinda landed in my head – you know how the internet is. Curiosity sparked, I guess.
Fired up my old laptop, opened the browser. Usual stuff. Went straight to the search bar. Typed it in: alexis rodriguez feet. Yeah, just like that. Hit enter.
The results page loaded up. Pretty standard layout. Saw a bunch of image thumbnails right away, some links to what looked like forums or maybe social media type sites? Picture galleries too. Just a mix of things, really.
I scrolled down a bit. Clicked on one or two image links just to see. You get those grid layouts, lots of pictures. Some seemed related, others maybe less so. It’s always a bit of a gamble what exactly pops up, isn’t it?
Here’s what I noticed during the process:
- Lots of image aggregate sites came up first.
- Some links seemed to go to discussion boards. Didn’t click those, wasn’t really looking for talk, just seeing what the search engine pulled.
- It felt like a pretty specific search, and the results were, well, specific to that.
Didn’t spend ages on it. Clicked back after a minute or two. Maybe tried the image search tab directly? Yeah, think I did. Just scrolled through the images there for a bit. Same sort of stuff, just laid out differently.
And… that was pretty much it. Closed the tab. Moved on to other things. It’s funny how you can just go down these little rabbit holes online for a few minutes based on a random thought. Just one of those weird internet things you do sometimes, right? Just documenting the little steps I took. Nothing too wild, just another day browsing.
