Alright, so I got this urge the other day to actually map out the whole WWE Bloodline thing. You see it on TV all the time, Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, Paul Heyman whispering in their ears, and they keep talking about family, the elders, the ancestors. I figured, how complicated can it really be?

First thing I did was just start searching. Went online, looked up the Anoa’i family. Man, that was the first rabbit hole. It’s not just the guys we see every week. This family tree is massive, like, seriously huge. It goes way back.
Getting the Names Down
So, I started jotting down names. Obviously got Roman, Jimmy, Jey, Solo. Then Rikishi, their dad. Gotta include The Rock, right? Everyone knows he’s related. Then you start digging a bit more.
- Yokozuna
- Umaga
- Rosey (Matt Anoa’i)
- Even Afa and Sika, the Wild Samoans
I grabbed a big notebook, just started scribbling names down as I found them. Trying to figure out who’s whose brother, cousin, uncle, nephew… it got messy fast.
Connecting the Dots (or Trying To)
This was the tricky part. Some connections are easy. Rikishi is the father of The Usos and Solo Sikoa. Okay, simple enough. Roman Reigns’ dad is Sika. The Rock’s grandfather, Peter Maivia, was like a “blood brother” to Amituana’i Anoa’i, who’s kinda the patriarch way back. So The Rock isn’t directly blood-related in the same way as Roman, but they consider each other family, which is big in their culture. That’s important for the whole WWE storyline thing too.
I tried using some simple drawing software on my computer at first, dragging boxes and lines. But honestly, it felt easier just sketching it out on paper. You see all these names – Lance Anoa’i, Jacob Fatu (who just showed up!), even guys from generations ago like Peter Maivia’s wife Lia Maivia, who was a promoter herself.
You have to keep track of who’s a brother, who’s a cousin, who married into the family. It gets complicated with half-siblings and different marriages across generations. I spent a good couple of hours just confirming relationships, checking different sources because sometimes the info wasn’t quite the same everywhere.
The Final Messy Picture
In the end, my notebook page looked like a spider web. You got the core group – Roman, Usos, Solo – right in the middle. Then branches going out to their parents, Rikishi and Sika. Another big branch for The Rock’s side through Peter Maivia. Then all these other names popping up – Umaga, Yokozuna, Rosey – connecting back in various ways. It’s way more spread out than just the guys calling themselves The Bloodline on SmackDown.
It was kinda cool, though, seeing it all laid out. Makes you appreciate the history they bring to the ring. It’s not just a gimmick; there’s a real, huge wrestling dynasty there. Took some time, but definitely interesting to piece it together myself instead of just reading a list.
