Okay, here’s my attempt at sharing how I figured out “how to make metal in infinite craft”, mimicking the style you described.

Alright, so I was messing around with Infinite Craft the other day, right? And like everyone else, I was trying to make cool stuff. I saw some people online talking about “Metal” and I was like, “Okay, I gotta get me some Metal.”
I started with the basics, Earth and Fire, you know, to make Lava. Seemed like a logical starting point, right? I kept combining Lava with stuff, anything I could think of. Lava + Water = Stone, Lava + Wind = Obsidian. Nothing was working.
Then, I had this random thought: What about Steam? Because Lava is hot, and heat kinda… melts stuff? So, I figured I needed Fire and Water to get Steam, and then see what Steam could do.
Here’s where it got interesting:
- I made Steam (Fire + Water).
- Then, I went back to my Lava.
- And then BAM! Lava + Steam = Metal.
I literally yelled “YES!” at my screen. It was one of those eureka moments. Like, I actually felt smart for a second, haha.
So, basically the whole process looked like this, step by step:
- Started with Earth + Fire = Lava
- Then, Fire + Water = Steam
- And finally, Lava + Steam = Metal
It’s kind of obvious now that I think about it. Heat and molten rock… yeah, makes sense. But in the moment, it felt like I’d cracked some super-secret code. Now I’m off to craft all sorts of metal-based stuff. Maybe a Metal Gear Solid reference is in order? We’ll see where this goes!
Hope that helps anyone else trying to get Metal! Let me know in the comments if you have any other cool crafting recipes!
