Alright, let’s talk about this wrestling money stuff, the WWE salaries, you know? Folks always wondering how much these fellas make, all that body slamming and showboating. I heard some things, seen some things, and I’ll tell ya, it’s a whole lot of money, more than this old lady ever seen in her whole life.
So, there’s this fella, Brock Lesnar, they say he’s the top dog, the big cheese. Heard he makes a cool 12 million dollars a year. Twelve million! Can you imagine? That’s more money than you could shake a stick at. Why, that fella could buy a whole heap of land, enough for the whole dang county, I reckon.
Then there’s this Roman Reigns fella. He’s a big deal too, always strutting around with that belt. But they say Brock makes more than double what he does. Imagine that! Still, Roman ain’t hurting for cash, I bet. He’s probably got more money than he knows what to do with.
Now, the average wrestler, they ain’t making millions, not like Brock. I heard they make somethin’ like $125,952 a year. That’s still a good chunk of change, mind you. More than most folks around here make in a lifetime. It works out to be about 60 dollars an hour, they say. Heck, that’s more than my grandson makes working at the factory.
- Weekly, they’re pullin’ in around $2,422.
- And monthly, it’s about $10,496.
That’s a lot of money for just wrestling and pretending, if you ask me. But hey, people like it, so they pay them good money, I guess.
Then there’s this CM Punk fella. Heard he just came back after a long break. They say he’s making a whopping 2.2 million dollars a month! A month! Lord have mercy, that’s more money than most banks have, I swear. And he’s got a contract ’til 2026, so he’s set for a while, that’s for sure. They say he was gone for ten years and now he is back. That’s a long time to be gone. I guess he got tired of sitting at home and came back for more money. Smart fella, I reckon.
And don’t forget about Cody Rhodes. He’s another big name, making big bucks, I’m sure. They don’t say exactly how much, but you know he’s gotta be up there with the rest of ‘em. He’s got that famous last name and folks like him. That means he gets paid well.
So, yeah, these wrestlers, they’re doing alright for themselves. They make more money in a year than most of us will see in our whole lives. But it ain’t all easy, I reckon. They gotta travel all the time, always on the road, and they gotta stay in shape. That’s a lot of hard work, even if it is just pretend fighting. And they get hurt sometimes too. I saw one fella get his arm broke once. That ain’t no fun, no matter how much money you’re making.
But in the end, it’s a job, just like any other job, I guess. Some folks make more, some folks make less. These wrestling fellas just happen to make a whole lot more than most. And good for them, I say. They’re entertaining folks, giving them somethin’ to watch. And if people are willing to pay ‘em that much money, well, that’s their business, ain’t it?
So next time you see these fellas on TV, all muscled up and yelling, just remember they’re making a pretty penny. And good for them, I say again. They earned it, one way or another.
I still don’t understand why people like watching it so much, seems like a waste of time to me, but everyone likes different things. If people want to spend money to watch guys in tight pants fake fight, well, it ain’t my money, and to be honest, they seem to pay these guys real well, so they must be doing something right.
Anyway, wrestling money is big money. That’s the long and short of it. And these fellas are living the high life, that’s for sure. More power to ‘em, I say.
