Alright, so listen up, y’all. This Khalil Rountree fella, he’s been messin’ up. Big time. They say he’s been cheatin’, takin’ stuff he ain’t supposed to. Now, I ain’t no fancy doctor or nothin’, but even I know you can’t be doin’ that.
They’re sayin’ he took some kinda “blended supplement,” whatever that means. Sounds like somethin’ you’d feed the chickens, not a grown man fightin’ in them UFC matches. This stuff, they call it dee-hydro-ee-pee-andro-sterone, or somethin’ like that. DHEA for short. Too many letters for my likin’, but apparently it’s a big no-no in the fightin’ world.
This fella, he was supposed to fight this other fella, Jamahal Hill, at somethin’ called UFC 303. Big fight, I hear. But now it’s all messed up, ’cause Khalil went and took that bad stuff. They kicked him right out of the fight. Serves him right, I say. Can’t be cheatin’ and expectin’ to get away with it.
It’s like puttin’ rocks in your chickens’ feed to make ’em heavier. Sure, they might weigh more, but it ain’t right. And it ain’t gonna last. Same with this fightin’ stuff. You gotta do it fair and square, or it don’t count for nothin’.
- He says he didn’t mean to take it, that it was an accident.
- Says it was in some kinda mix, and he didn’t know.
- Maybe so, maybe not. Hard to say these days. Folks always got excuses.
I remember back when, if you messed up, you owned up to it. No fancy words or explanations. You just said, “Yep, I done it.” And you took your punishment like a man.
Now, this Khalil, he’s a strong fella. I seen him fight before. He packs a punch, that’s for sure. But strong ain’t everything. You gotta have honor too. You gotta fight clean.
They say he trained in Thailand one time. Far away place, that is. Don’t know what they do over there, but I reckon they teach you how to fight. Maybe they should teach you how to read labels too, so you don’t go takin’ stuff you ain’t supposed to.
Then there’s this other fella, Alex Pereira. He fought Khalil and won. Beat him fair and square, by the looks of it. Used body punches, they say. Now that’s fightin’. No fancy supplements, just good old-fashioned hard work and skill.
This whole cheatin’ thing, it just ain’t right. It makes you wonder, how many others are doin’ it? How many are takin’ shortcuts to get ahead? It ain’t fair to the ones who are playin’ by the rules. It ain’t fair to the fans who pay good money to see a fair fight.
I tell you what, if my chickens started cheatin’, I’d be mad as a hornet. And I wouldn’t be lettin’ ’em get away with it. Same goes for these fighters. They gotta be held accountable. They gotta learn that cheatin’ don’t pay.
So, what’s gonna happen to Khalil? I don’t know. Maybe they’ll fine him, maybe they’ll suspend him. Maybe he’ll learn his lesson. Maybe he won’t. Only time will tell.
But one thing’s for sure, this whole mess has got folks talkin’. And it ain’t good talk. It’s a shame, really. He seemed like a good fighter, but now he’s just another cheater in folks’ eyes. He’s gotta earn back that trust, and that ain’t gonna be easy.
And that, my friends, is the story of Khalil Rountree and his cheatin’ ways. A cautionary tale, if you ask me. Don’t go takin’ stuff you ain’t supposed to, and always fight fair. That’s the way it should be.
Bottom line, this mess with Khalil Rountree cheatin’ with that DHEA stuff just shows you can’t cut corners. Gotta play fair and square, in fightin’ and in life. That’s all there is to it.
