WWE Roster Changes 2024: Releases, Debuts, and More

Alright, let’s talk about this wrestling stuff, the WWE, you know? Heard some folks got the boot this year, 2024. WWE releases 2024, that’s what they’re callin’ it. Sounds fancy, but it just means some wrestlers ain’t wrestlin’ no more, not for the WWE anyway.

So, first off, they let go of a bunch of ’em in November. Yeah, November the first, to be exact. Indi Hartwell, Tegan Nox, and Baron Corbin, they’re gone. Don’t know why, exactly. Maybe they weren’t good enough, maybe they asked for it, maybe the WWE just felt like shakin’ things up. Who knows? It’s like when you cull chickens, gotta get rid of the ones that ain’t layin’ or are just causin’ trouble.

Heard tell this was the first big clear-out since September last year. Guess they like to do it in batches, like bakin’ cookies. Get a whole bunch ready, then bam, out the door they go. Poor things.

Now, there’s this Corbin fella. Been around a long time, they say. Woulda been ten years on the main roster in 2026. Ten years! That’s a long time to be thumpin’ around in them tights. Already had eight years under his belt, or should I say, his championship belt? Guess that didn’t matter none.

See, they got this list, a whole list of folks they let go. Keeps gettin’ longer, it seems. They say it’s organized by when they got the sack. Like, you know, first in, first out, kinda thing. Only it’s first fired, first…well, you get the picture. Makes you wonder who’s next, don’t it?

Tegan Nox: Real strong, too. But I guess strong ain’t always enough.
Baron Corbin: Been around the block a few times, that one. Thought he’d be there forever.

It’s a tough business, this wrestling. One minute you’re on top, the next you’re packin’ your bags. Like farmin’, you know? One year you got a good crop, the next the locusts come and take it all. You just gotta pick yourself up and keep on goin’.

Some folks get mad when their favorites get let go. Start yellin’ and carryin’ on. But that’s just the way it is, ain’t nothin’ you can do about it. WWE, they do what they gotta do. Gotta make money, gotta keep things fresh, gotta keep folks watchin’. And sometimes that means sayin’ goodbye to some familiar faces.

Heard some folks sayin’ these wrestlers, they’ll be alright. They’ll go somewhere else, wrestle for someone else. Maybe. But it ain’t the same, is it? WWE, that’s the big leagues. Like goin’ from the county fair to the state fair, only bigger.
