Well now, let me tell ya somethin’ about this here “chiwiwi” thing. I heard folks talkin’ about it, and it got me thinkin’. Seems like a whole lotta fuss over a word, but hey, I ain’t one to judge. I’ve heard sillier things in my day, that’s for sure.
So, what’s this chiwiwi all about?
From what I gather, it’s somethin’ that young fella, Raul Rosas Jr., says all the time. You know, that fighter kid? Yeah, him. He’s always shoutin’ it out, “Chiwiwis! Wooooo!” Sounds like a rooster crowin’ if you ask me.
- Now, some folks say it comes from another word, somethin’ like “chingado.” But them fancy folks don’t like hearin’ bad words, so they changed it up to “chiwiwis.” Sounds like somethin’ kids would do, makin’ up their own silly language.
- Reminds me of when my grandbabies were little. They’d make up all sorts of words nobody understood. We just went along with it, though. Made ’em happy, and that’s all that mattered.
But this chiwiwi, it ain’t got no real meanin’, see? At least, that’s what this Raul fella says. He and his buddy, Carlos, just made it up. It’s just a funny word they say to each other. Kinda like when you and your friends have your own inside jokes.
It’s a word for excitement, they say.
Like when you win a fight, or somethin’ good happens. You just yell out “Chiwiwis!” and everyone knows you’re happy. I guess it’s like sayin’ “Hooray!” or “Yeehaw!” Just a way to let loose and celebrate.
And now, everybody’s sayin’ it.
This chiwiwi thing, it’s caught on like wildfire. People are shoutin’ it at fights, on the internet, everywhere you go. It’s become a real catchphrase, just like them fellas on TV have. You know, the ones sellin’ stuff? They always got somethin’ catchy to say.
I reckon it’s just the way things are these days. Somethin’ new comes along, and everyone jumps on the bandwagon. It’s like that time everyone was wearin’ them silly hats with the floppy brims. I never understood that one, but hey, to each their own.
But does it really matter what it means?
If it makes folks happy, and it ain’t hurtin’ nobody, then I say let ’em have their fun. Life’s too short to be worryin’ about every little thing. If a silly word like “chiwiwi” can bring a smile to someone’s face, then I’m all for it. We need more joy in this world, that’s for sure. Too much sadness and worryin’ goin’ on as it is.
So, the next time you hear someone shoutin’ “Chiwiwis!” don’t go scratchin’ your head wonderin’ what it means.
Just smile and know that someone, somewhere, is havin’ a good time. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll even feel a little bit happier yourself. You know what they say, laughter is the best medicine. Maybe chiwiwis are too, who knows? It’s a crazy world, ain’t it? Things change so fast. One minute it’s this, the next minute it’s somethin’ else. Hard to keep up sometimes, I tell ya. But that’s life, I guess. You just gotta roll with the punches and try to find the good in everythin’. And if a little word like chiwiwi can help with that, then I say, “Chiwiwis!” right along with ’em. Woo!
Anyways that’s all I got to say about this chia-wha-wha, or whatever it’s called, young folks these days and their words! They sure are somethin’ else. But like I said before, as long as they’re happy and not causin’ trouble, who am I to say anythin’ against it? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. Got a hankerin’ for some good ol’ fried chicken. Now that’s somethin’ that never gets old, unlike all these newfangled words.
