Alright, so you wanna listen to that Auburn football game, huh? Them Tigers roaring and all that. Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t always easy, but it ain’t rocket science neither. Back in my day, we just listened to the radio, none of this fancy internet stuff. But times change, I guess. So, let’s figure out how you can hear them boys play, live and loud, no matter where you are.
First off, you got the Auburn Tigers Sports Network. Sounds fancy, right? But it’s just the radio, like I said. You can find it on that TuneIn thingy. I don’t rightly know what that is, but my grandkid says it’s on the computer and your phone, too. So, you can listen anytime, anywhere, just like they say. That’s mighty convenient, ain’t it? No more sittin’ by the radio, twistin’ the dial, hopin’ the signal don’t fade out.
Now, some folks say you can listen for free. Well, that’s always good, ain’t nothin’ better than free! I reckon you gotta search around for that, though. Maybe on that internet thing again. My grandkid’s always lookin’ for free stuff on there, says it’s the way to go. But be careful, there’s a lot of junk out there too. Don’t go clickin’ on nothin’ that looks fishy, ya hear?
- Thanksgiving weekend, they say you can listen no matter where you are. That’s nice, ’cause folks travel all over for that holiday. You can be eatin’ your turkey and still hear the game. Just don’t get so caught up in the game you forget to pass the gravy!
- And then there’s the whole football season. They talk about how to listen all season long. I guess that means they got you covered from the first game to the last. That’s good, you don’t wanna miss a single play.
They also talk about the Auburn University Marching Band. Oh, them horns and drums, they get you all fired up! They play that “War Eagle” song. It ain’t just a song, they say. It’s a greeting, a battle cry. Sounds mighty important, doesn’t it? “War Eagle, fly down the field, Ever to conquer, never to yield. War Eagle!” That’s what they sing. Gets your blood pumpin’, even if you ain’t never seen a football game in your life.
You got that ESPN 106.7, the Auburn Network. That’s another way to hear the game. More choices, I guess. It’s all about findin’ what works for you. Maybe one station sounds better than another, or maybe one’s easier to get on your radio or whatever gizmo you’re usin’. They all just tryin’ to get you to listen to them, ya know.
So, there you have it. A whole bunch of ways to listen to that Auburn football game. Radio, internet, all kinds of stuff. It’s a lot different from the old days, that’s for sure. But the important thing is, you can still hear them Tigers play. And that’s all that matters, right? Now, go on and find that game, and War Eagle!
Just remember, don’t get too worked up over the game. It’s just a game, after all. Win or lose, life goes on. There’s more important things in life than football, like family and friends, and a good piece of pie. But it sure is fun to listen to them boys play, ain’t it? So, turn up the volume, grab a snack, and enjoy the game. And don’t forget to yell “War Eagle” every now and then. It just feels good, ya know?
And one more thing. If you’re listenin’ online, make sure you got a good internet connection. Nothin’ worse than the game cuttin’ out right when they’re about to score. And if you’re listenin’ on the radio, well, just hope the weather’s good. Storms can mess with the signal, you know. But either way, good luck, and enjoy the game!
