Now, what he does is this: he helps speed up buildin’ stuff. You know, like when you’re upgradin’ your town hall or your cannons or whatever. He can knock off some time from that waitin’ period. And the more you level him up, the more time he shaves off. It’s like, level 1, he takes off an hour, level 2, two hours, and so on. They say he can go all the way up to level 8, and that’s supposed to save you a whole eight hours a day.
Sounds good, but what’s the catch?
Well, nothin’s free, right? This little helper fella costs gems. And not just a few, we’re talkin’ a whole heap of ‘em. I heard it’s somethin’ like 6,500 gems to get him all the way to level 8. That’s a lot of gems, even for someone who’s been playin’ for a while.
And here’s another thing, you can only use him once every 23 hours. So, you can’t just keep him workin’ non-stop. Gotta wait a whole day almost before he can help out again.
- So, is he worth the gems?
- Well, that depends on how you play the game, I reckon.
- If you’re in it for the long haul, playin’ every day, then maybe it is. Some folks say it’s the best way to spend your gems because it helps you out every single day. If you’re loggin’ in daily and usin’ him, then yeah, you’re probably gettin’ your money’s worth over time.
- But if you just play now and then, or if you don’t have a ton of gems to spare, then maybe it ain’t worth it. Those gems could be used for other stuff, ya know?
Some folks are sayin’ you can buy him for a couple of bucks and not have to upgrade him all the way. That might be a good option if you just want a little boost without spendin’ all your gems. I mean, even a few hours saved each day adds up, right?

It’s kinda like this, see? If you’re plannin’ on stickin’ with Clash of Clans for a good long while, then gettin’ the Builder Apprentice all leveled up could be a smart move. It’s like investin’ in your village, makin’ things go faster in the long run.
But if you ain’t so sure you’re gonna be playin’ for that long, or if you don’t have a lot of gems to throw around, then maybe you should hold off. There’s other ways to spend your gems, ya know? Remember, this Builder Apprentice only helps with one buildin’ at a time. He ain’t like those other builders that can work on multiple things. So, keep that in mind when you’re makin’ your decision. It’s a nice little boost, but it ain’t gonna magically make your village upgrade itself overnight.
