Well, howdy there, y’all! Let’s gab a bit ‘bout this here “Elder Scrolls Online Armory,” alright? It ain’t as complicated as them city folk make it out to be. I reckon it’s kinda like changin’ clothes, but for your fightin’ gear and such.
First off, ya gotta get yerself one of them Armory Stations. Don’t go frettin’ ’bout the cost, ’cause it’s free! Yep, free as a bird. Just mosey on over to that there Crown Store and snatch it up. Then, ya gotta find a place to put it. Got yerself a house in the game? Perfect! Plunk that station right down in there.
Now, what does this here Armory thingy do? Well, it’s like this: it remembers all your fightin’ stuff. Your skills, y’know, the ones ya use to whack them monsters. And them Champion Points? Yep, it remembers those too. And all the gear ya wear – yer armor, yer weapons, the whole shebang. Even them potions and whatnot ya put on yer quickslot wheel, it remembers them!
Think of it like this: Let’s say ya wanna go fishin’. Ya wouldn’t wear yer fancy dancin’ shoes, would ya? Naw, ya’d put on yer workin’ boots and grab yer fishin’ pole. This Armory is the same! Ya save a “fishin’” setup and a “fightin’” setup, and ya can switch between ’em quicker than a hiccup.
So, how d’ya use it? It’s simple, even for an old gal like me. Ya go up to the station, and it’ll show ya what’s what. Ya can save yer current setup – whatever yer wearin’ and usin’ right then and there. Or, ya can load up a setup ya saved before. It’s like puttin’ on a whole new outfit with just a few clicks.
- Savin’ yer setup: Just make sure yer wearin’ and usin’ what ya want, then tell the station to save it. Give it a name so ya remember what it is – like “sword and board” or “sneaky stabber.”
- Loadin’ a setup: Pick the setup ya want from the list, and the station will do the rest. Poof! Yer all changed and ready to go.
Now, some folks say ya can’t change a setup once ya saved it. That’s mostly true. Ya can’t just tweak a little here and there. But what ya can do is load up a setup, change what ya need to change, and then save it again as a new setup. Or, if ya wanna start fresh, ya can load up an empty setup – it’s like startin’ with a clean slate.
I heard some young’uns talkin’ ‘bout story quests and guilds and such. They say it’s a good idea to do them quests – the main story, yer alliance story, and them Mages and Fighters Guild quests too. That way ya learn the ropes and get some good gear. And if yer new, they say to go to Davon’s Watch and talk to some hooded feller to start the main story. But that’s just what I heard, mind you.
This Armory thing, it really makes things easier. No more fumbling around, changin’ each piece of gear one by one. Just a few clicks and yer ready to go, whether yer fightin’ dragons or gatherin’ herbs. It’s a real time-saver, I tell ya.
So, there ya have it. The Elder Scrolls Online Armory, explained plain and simple, just like I’d tell my own grandkids. Go on and get yerself one, and make yer fightin’ life a whole lot easier. You won’t regret it, I reckon. It ain’t rocket science, that’s for sure!
One more thing: Don’t be shy about askin’ for help if ya need it. There’s plenty of folks playin’ this game, and most of ’em are willin’ to lend a hand. Just be polite, and ya’ll be fine.
