Alright, let’s talk about this fella, Roman Reigns, from that wrestling thing, WWE, you know? Folks keep yappin’ about him, so I figured I’d put in my two cents, even though I ain’t got much change to spare.
This Roman fella, the “Tribal Chief,” they call him. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Like some kinda big shot from out west. Well, they say he held that championship belt, the Universal one, for a long, long time. Thirteen hundred and some days, they say. That’s a heap of time, I tell ya. Longer than it takes for my corn to grow, and that’s sayin’ something.
Now, I ain’t much for watchin’ TV, too busy tendin’ to the chickens and such, but I hear tell that this Reigns guy, he’s a big deal. Folks hollerin’ and cheerin’, just like when the preacher comes to town, only with more smackin’ and less prayin’.
- They say he’s one of the best wrestlers ever.
- Best ever? Well, I reckon there was that Bruno fella, held the belt even longer, almost twice as long. Now that’s what I call a long time.
- But this Reigns, he’s somethin’ special, they say.
Folks are all excited ’cause he’s comin’ back to that wrestlin’ show full-time, smackin’ people around and whatnot. They got a whole schedule for him, fightin’ with some Cody fella, and showin’ up on that “SmackDown” show. Sounds like a busy fella, busier than a one-legged cat in a sandbox.
They even talkin’ about him movin’ to another show, “RAW” they call it. I don’t know what that means, raw meat? I like my meat cooked, thank you very much. Seems like a lot of fuss over a fella in tight pants, but I guess that’s what folks like these days.
And then there’s this Kane fella, they mention him too. Said he had a belt for a while, but not as long as this Reigns guy. Seems like holdin’ that belt is a mighty big deal in that wrestlin’ world.
So, this Roman Reigns, he’s the big cheese, the top dog, the king of the… uh… wrestlin’ ring. Thirteen hundred and sixteen days, that’s a long time to be holdin’ onto somethin’. I can barely hold onto my teeth these days, and they ain’t near as shiny as that belt, I betcha.
They got this “Bad Blood” event comin’ up too, where Reigns is gonna team up with that Cody fella. Bad blood, huh? Sounds like somethin’ my old mule used to have when he didn’t get his oats. Hope these fellas get along better than that mule did with anyone.
And he’s gonna be on that “SmackDown” show three times in October and November. Three times! That’s more than I go to town in a year. Must be important, I guess.
People get all worked up over these wrestlin’ matches, shoutin’ and jumpin’ around. Reminds me of the time a raccoon got into the henhouse, only with less feathers flyin’. But I guess it’s entertainment, just like them picture shows they have in the city, only with more muscles and less… well, less clothes, maybe?
Anyways, that’s the gist of it, this Roman Reigns fella is a big deal in that wrestlin’ world. Holds the belt for a long time, folks cheer for him, and he’s gonna be smackin’ around some more fellas real soon. And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed the chickens.
