Well, let me tell ya ’bout this here 2023 Topps Dynasty thing. I ain’t no expert, mind you, but I heard folks talkin’, and I seen some pictures, so I reckon I can tell ya a thing or two.
First off, this here 2023 Topps Dynasty Baseball ain’t no penny candy, ya hear? It’s one of them fancy, high-priced deals. Folks say it’s “ultra-premium,” whatever that means. Sounds like somethin’ for them rich city slickers, if ya ask me.
Now, they got these things called “hobby boxes.” I ain’t sure what a hobby is, unless it’s milkin’ cows or somethin’, but these boxes, they got cards in ’em. And not just any cards, mind you. These cards got pictures of baseball fellers, and some of ’em even got them fellers’ scribbles on ’em, what they call “autographs.” They even got pieces of stuff stuck on the cards, like jerseys or bats, they call ’em “relics”, fancy, huh?
- Autographs: That’s when the baseball fellers sign their names on the cards. Some folks go crazy for them things.
- Relics: These are little pieces of jerseys or bats or somethin’ stuck onto the cards. Makes ’em kinda bumpy, if ya ask me.
They say this here 2023 Topps Dynasty set got all sorts of special cards. They got somethin’ called “Dual Relic Cut Signatures,” where they got two pieces of stuff and two signatures on one card. Sounds like a whole lotta somethin’ for just one card, if ya ask me.
Now, I heard tell this 2023 Topps Dynasty thing came out on March 22nd. That’s springtime, when the flowers start bloomin’ and the birds start singin’. Seems like a good time to be sellin’ baseball cards, I guess.
Some folks are wonderin’ if these here hobby boxes are gonna be worth somethin’ down the road. They talk about “value” and how much they’ll be worth later on. Me, I figure a dollar today is worth more than two tomorrow, but what do I know? I’m just an old woman.
I seen some folks talkin’ about “on this day auto patch cards” and “gold 1/1”. Sounds like some kinda secret code to me. Maybe it means there’s special cards out there, real rare ones that are worth a whole heap of money. Who knows?
They also talk about “checklists” and “breakdowns” and “ratings”. Seems like a lot of fuss over some pieces of cardboard, if ya ask me. But folks get passionate about their hobbies, I guess. Just like how I get passionate about my garden, even though some folks say it’s just a bunch of dirt and weeds.
And then there’s this thing about “affiliate links.” I ain’t quite sure what that means, but it sounds like some kinda way for folks to make money off sellin’ these cards. Everybody’s tryin’ to make a buck, I reckon.
So, that’s about all I know about this here 2023 Topps Dynasty. It’s a fancy, expensive set of baseball cards with autographs and relics and all sorts of special stuff. Whether it’s worth the money, well, that’s for each person to decide. Me, I’d rather spend my money on somethin’ practical, like a good pair of shoes or a nice warm blanket. But hey, to each their own, right?

But remember, it ain’t for the faint of heart or light of pocketbook. This here’s a rich man’s game, or at least a man willin’ to spend a whole lot of his hard-earned cash on some pictures of baseball players. Like I said, I’d stick to my garden, but that’s just me.
