Alright, let’s gab about this Obi Toppin fella and who his wife is, or maybe she ain’t even his wife, you know how these young folks are these days. I heard some things, seen some things, and I’ll tell ya what I know, or what I think I know, which is pretty much the same thing if you ask me.
So, who’s this Obi Toppin guy anyway?
Well, from what I gather, he’s one of them basketball players. Big fella, tall as a beanpole, jumps higher than a jackrabbit. They say he’s real flashy, you know, likes to show off a bit. Runs fast, too, like he’s got ants in his pants. Some folks say he’s good, some say he’s just okay. Me? I don’t know nothin’ about basketball. - They got a kid together, last I heard. And Obi, he’s got another young’un from before, a boy named Daniel. So, he’s got a whole passel of kids, it seems. Good for him, I guess. Kids are a blessin’, even if they do make a mess and eat you outta house and home.
- I saw a picture once, I think. She looked nice enough, not too skinny, not too fat. Just right, like a good corn-fed gal. Seemed happy, smilin’ and all. Hope she keeps that boy in line, he looks like the kind that needs a strong woman.
What about Obi’s family?
His mama, she’s named Roni. Fancy name, ain’t it? I heard she’s got some Italian and Jewish blood in her. His daddy, well, he’s also named Obadiah, like his boy. Guess they ran outta names or somethin’. Don’t know much else about ’em. Probably good folks, though. Most folks are, if you give ’em half a chance.

Like I said, I don’t know beans about basketball, but from what I hear, this Obi fella is somethin’ else. He’s tall, real tall, and he can jump. They say he runs fast, too, like a deer. He plays for the Pacers now, and they say he’s gonna be a real firecracker in their offense. Somethin’ about throwing “nitroglycerin” into a fire. Sounds dangerous to me, but these sports folks, they always talk in riddles. He’s got long arms too, they call it wingspan, seven feet and two inches of it. And that jump of his, they say it’s 44 inches straight up. Sounds like a good recipe to me.
What’s the deal with Obi Toppin and Tyrese Haliburton?
Well, they’re teammates, that much I know. And I heard they went on a double date with their ladies. Haliburton’s got a girl named Jade Jones. Nice to see these young fellas bein’ all romantic and whatnot. Takes their girls out, treats ’em right. That’s how it should be, if you ask me. A good man always takes care of his woman, and his kids, too.
So, what’s the bottom line on Obi Toppin’s wife, or girlfriend?
Her name’s Bellinger, they’ve been together a few years, got a kid, and Obi’s got another kid from before. She seems like a nice gal, and I hope they’re happy together. Obi, he seems like a good fella, a bit wild maybe, but a good fella at heart. And that’s all there is to it, as far as I can tell. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about basketball and girlfriends has made me hungry.
