They tell me he’s usin’ a Ping G430 LST driver. Sounds like somethin’ from out of space, don’t it? But I guess it gets the job done. Some other fella, Sahith Theegala, uses the same one, they say. Must be a good one, then. These young fellas and their fancy names for clubs. Taylor Pendrith WITB 2024, gotta remember that.
The Putter – It’s a Big Deal
And that putter he uses, an Odyssey Versa Jailbird 380 CS. Lordy, what a mouthful. Supposed to help him aim real good. I guess when you’re puttin’ for big money, you need somethin’ special. That Jailbird thing is s’posed to keep him steady. I guess it helps him make those putts, that’s for sure. Heavier than my old iron skillet, they say. That’s how he get that thing goin’. That’s some fancy stuff he got there. That’s a long way to say that Taylor Pendrith has a good putter.

- He’s got a Ping G430 Max 3-wood. Whatever that means.
- And a Ping G425 7-wood. Lots of Pings in that bag.
- Then he uses somethin’ called Srixon for his irons and wedges.
