Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this game called “Stellar Blade,” and let me tell you, the endings are a wild ride. There are basically three ways this game can wrap up, and I spent a good chunk of my weekend figuring them out. Here’s the lowdown on my adventure.
First Attempt: Just Following the Story
I started playing, following the main storyline. I got to this critical point where this guy, Adam, offers his hand to EVE. Now, the first time around, I thought, “Nah, I’m not feeling this,” and I had EVE refuse. This kicked off a crazy battle. It turned into a full-blown boss fight against Adam, who morphed into this big, scary monster called the Elder Naytiba. It was intense!
After a grueling fight, I defeated the Elder Naytiba. Adam, back in his human form, pretty much died right there in EVE’s arms. He said something heavy about the history of humanity being over because of what I did. Talk about a downer ending. This is what they call the “Return to the Colony” ending. It was cool, but it felt kind of sad.
Second Try: Maxing Out Lily’s Meter
Next, I heard that if you get Lily’s relationship meter to 100%, things go differently. So, I replayed a bunch of sections, made sure to bond with Lily as much as possible. It took some time, but I got that meter maxed out. When I got back to the scene with Adam, I decided to take his hand this time. This is apparently the “best” ending. It did feel a lot more positive, not gonna lie. Everything seemed to wrap up nicely, and it was a more hopeful conclusion. But, honestly, it felt a bit too perfect, you know?
The “Secret” Ending: Best of Both Worlds?
I read somewhere online that the “secret” ending is actually the best. I couldn’t find clear instructions, but it seemed like people thought it combined the cool boss fight with a decent outcome. So I gave it another shot. I made sure to keep Lily’s meter high, I mean, I think it was at 100% again. I got to the same point with Adam, and initially, I refused his hand, and we had the same crazy boss fight. After the fight with the Elder Naytiba, I thought it was going to be the “Return to the Colony” ending again. But to my surprise, there was a different cutscene afterward! It still had Adam dying, but there was more dialogue that hinted at a deeper plot, a potential future for humanity. It wasn’t as happy as the ending where I accepted Adam’s hand, but it felt more complete, like there was more to the story. It left me with a lot to think about. And yeah, maybe there’s still hope for humanity.
So, there you have it. My journey through the endings of “Stellar Blade.” Each one is unique and brings something different to the table. It’s definitely a game that makes you think about your choices. I would love to hear about your experiences with the game, so share your thoughts!
