Well, I reckon if you’re a fan of wrestling, you’ve probably heard of AJ Lee and CM Punk. Them two have been a big part of WWE for a long time, and folks around here, they talk about them plenty. Now, the thing is, AJ Lee, she’s been retired for a good ten years now, just living her life and doing other things. But with CM Punk comin’ back to WWE, people’s minds are all a-flutter, wonderin’ if AJ might come back too. And I’ll tell ya, there’s been a whole lotta buzz ‘bout it in 2023.
So, CM Punk, he made his return to WWE at Survivor Series. That got folks real excited, especially when he started talkin’ ‘bout his wife, AJ. They’ve always been tight, them two, and when Punk started talkin’ in interviews, he didn’t exactly rule out the possibility of AJ comin’ back to the ring. Now, I don’t know ‘bout you, but that sure got me thinkin’—could AJ be comin’ back to entertain us again? That’d be somethin’ alright.
AJ Lee, bless her heart, she was one of the top divas in WWE back in the day. She had that fire, you know? The kinda energy that just lit up the whole place. She held the Divas Championship a few times, and fans loved her. But after she retired, she kinda disappeared from the wrestling scene. Folks didn’t see her for years, but she kept herself busy with other things, like writing books and living life with her man, Punk.
But now, with Punk back in WWE, folks are wonderin’ if AJ Lee might make a return too. Some fans are hopin’ that maybe, just maybe, she’ll come back for one more run in the ring. And who could blame ‘em? It’d be a real treat to see AJ back, don’t ya think? But, I reckon, there’s no tellin’ what’ll happen. It’s all just talk for now.
Now, it’s been said that after Punk came back, some people started wonderin’ if AJ might follow in his footsteps. But I gotta tell ya, it’s not just because they’re married. AJ Lee had her own legacy in WWE, and she didn’t need anyone to help her with that. She was strong on her own, did things her way, and that’s what made her so special.
One thing that some folks might not remember is that AJ Lee had a little romance with another wrestler before Punk. Yup, back in the day, she was with Jay Lethal, the Ring of Honor fella. They dated for a few years, from 2007 to 2010. Not much is known about their relationship, though, ‘cause they kept things real quiet. But, folks sure remember her for the time she spent in WWE.
With CM Punk back in WWE, the buzz around AJ’s possible return is stronger than ever. Some fans are wishin’ for her to come back, others are just speculatin’, but it’s all part of the fun. Will she return? Maybe. Maybe not. But if she does, you can bet there’ll be a whole lotta excitement, and I don’t think anyone would mind seein’ her step back into that ring.
One thing’s for sure, AJ Lee was a force to be reckoned with in WWE. Whether she comes back or not, she’s got a place in the hearts of fans everywhere. And even if she’s done with wrestling for good, we’ll always remember her time in the ring. So, who knows what the future holds? Maybe one day we’ll see her again, but until then, we can only dream.
