Alright, let’s gab about this Bournemouth football team and all the comings and goings, you know, the transfer stuff. They call ’em “rumours,” but where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire, right? That’s what my old man used to say, bless his soul.
So, first off, this young fella, Milos Kerkez. Serbian kid, plays on the left side, back or wing, they say. Just a young’un, born in 2003. Still wet behind the ears, if you ask me. But they say he’s got potential. Well, everybody’s got potential ’til they prove otherwise, ain’t that the truth?
Now, there’s a whole heap of talk about players coming and going. You got websites and newspapers, all yappin’ about it. They say Bournemouth, and some other teams too, like Brentford and Southampton, they’re lookin’ at this Fabio Silva fella. He’s Portuguese, young too, 22 they say. Plays up front, scores goals I guess. But he’s on loan somewhere, Las Palmas, from another team, Wolves. Sounds complicated, all this loanin’ and buyin’. Back in my day, you played for your town, and that was that.
Then there’s this Brazilian striker, Evanilson. 24 years old, Porto don’t wanna let him go, it seems. Bournemouth made an offer, but Porto said “no sir!” Guess he’s pretty good then. They didn’t say how much money, but I bet it was a pretty penny. These football fellas, they make more money than a body can imagine.
- So, you got Kerkez, already there.
- You got Silva, maybe comin’.
- You got Evanilson, maybe not comin’.
And then there’s all the others, the ones they don’t talk about so much. The ins and outs, they call ’em. Loan deals, permanent deals, it’s all a big jumble. You need a degree just to keep up! But I guess that’s how it is these days. Big business, this football.
They got websites, see, that tell you all the rumors. Every whisper, every maybe, it’s all there. They even got pictures and stats. Stats! Back in my day, you watched the game, and you knew if a fella was good or not. No need for all these fancy numbers.
One fella they’re talkin’ about leavin’ is Lloyd Kelly. Defender, they say. Newcastle’s talkin’ to him, and West Ham and Tottenham too. Sounds like he’s got options. Can’t blame a fella for lookin’ out for himself, I guess. But it’s always sad to see a good player go. You get attached, you know? You see ’em play week after week, and they become like family, almost.
They talk about seasons, like 2024/2025. That’s the next one, I reckon. So, all this talk is about who’s gonna play next year. Who’s gonna be wearin’ the Bournemouth shirt, and who’s gonna be somewhere else. It’s a never-ending story, this transfer business. Always somethin’ happenin’, always somethin’ to talk about.
So, that’s the lowdown, as best as I can tell ya. Kerkez is in, Silva might be in, Evanilson probably ain’t, and Kelly might be out. And a whole bunch of other fellas, who knows? It’s all a big guessin’ game, this transfer market. But one thing’s for sure, come next season, there’ll be some new faces on that Bournemouth team. And some old faces gone. That’s just the way it is.
