Okay, so I wanted to get all the K.K. Slider songs in Animal Crossing: Wild World. I knew I had to wait for Saturday evening to roll around. When it was finally Saturday, I made sure to hop on the game a bit before 8 PM. Gotta be ready, right?
So, 8 PM hits, and I rushed over to The Roost. There he was, K.K. Slider, just chilling with his guitar. First time I talked to him, I got a bit too excited and he ended up playing a random song. But my pockets were full anyway, so he didn’t give me a copy of the tune.
Then I remembered something important – I had to back out of the first conversation if I wanted to request a specific song. So, I talked to him again, and this time, when he asked if I wanted to hear a song, I said no. That’s the trick! He then let me request a song.
I had a list of songs I wanted, I found on the Internet, and I started typing in the names, one by one. You have to type the song names exactly as they are, or K.K. won’t recognize them. Capital letters, punctuation, everything has to be spot on. I learned that the hard way after messing up a couple of times.
Each time I successfully requested a song and my pockets were empty, K.K. gave me a copy. I would then run back to my house, go to my stereo, and play the song. That’s how you add it to your collection!
Here are some songs I got:
- K.K. Bossa
- K.K. Calypso
- K.K. Chorale
- K.K. Condor
- K.K. Cruisin’
I repeated this process every Saturday, requesting songs and building up my music library. It took a while, but I was on a mission! And I have to say that after I got 3 stars rating which I talked to Isabelle to confirm, Tom Nook called KK Slider and invited him to my place. It is convenient.
It was a fun little project, collecting all those K.K. Slider songs. Now, my in-game house has a killer soundtrack, and I can change the music whenever I want. Totally worth the effort!
