So, I was digging around the internet the other day, and I stumbled upon this name, Anna McEnroe. I’d heard the name before, somewhere, I just couldn’t place it. Anyway, I got curious and decided to find out more about her.
First, I tried to figure out who she is. I mean, is she famous or something? Did a basic search and found out that she’s connected to that famous tennis player, John McEnroe. Turns out, she’s his oldest daughter. Okay, that’s something. I guess that’s why her name sounded familiar, must have heard it in passing related to her dad.
Then, I got a little sidetracked and watched some old tennis matches. Man, those were the days! I saw one where Bjorn Borg was talking, and he said, “I’m gonna miss John a lot.” So they have good friendship. Good to know. But back to Anna.
I went on to find out a bit more about her family. Born on December 27, she is. There’s also this bit about her being a “Dunboyne woman,” which I guess is where she’s from or lives. Didn’t dig too deep into that, though, I got lost in some biography thing, it’s some TV Guide’s exclusive biography stuff, didn’t really interest me.
So, that’s pretty much what I found out about Anna McEnroe. She’s John McEnroe’s daughter, born in December, and might be from Dunboyne. Not a whole lot, but it was a fun little detour while I was browsing the web.
Just thought I’d share my little adventure. You never know what you’ll find when you start poking around online!
- Found out Anna is John McEnroe’s oldest daughter.

- Learned she was born on December 27.
- Saw something about her being a “Dunboyne woman.”
- Read some of her biography but not really into it.
That’s all. Hope you enjoyed my little story!
