Well, now, let me tell ya somethin’ about this Arch Manning fella and all this talk ’bout him transferrin’. People be chatterin’ like hens in a coop, don’t they? Folks always gotta have somethin’ to gossip about, I reckon.
So, this Arch boy, he’s one of them Mannin’s, you know? Like them famous football playin’ Mannin’s. His grandpa Archie, his uncles Peyton and Eli. Big names, big shoes to fill, I tell ya. And this boy, he plays quarterback for the Texas Longhorns.
Now, some folks was sayin’ he might up and leave, go to another school. Transfer, they call it. Said he might do it ’cause they got this other quarterback, Quinn Ewers. Good player, they say. And Texas, they seem to like him right now.
- But here’s the thing, see. This Arch boy, he ain’t even old enough to go to the pro football yet. Got to wait till 2026, they tell me. So why would he be rushin’ off somewhere else?
- And then there’s this talk about LSU. Another school. They was wantin’ some other boy to play for ’em, but he ain’t comin’, seems like. So folks are wonderin’ if they might want this Arch boy instead.
Now, I ain’t no football expert, mind you. Just tellin’ ya what I hear. But seems to me, this transfer stuff is a big deal these days. Boys jumpin’ from one school to another like fleas on a dog. Ain’t like it used to be, I tell ya.
But this Arch boy, he’s a Manning, remember? They ain’t known for quittin’. They work hard, they stick it out. Least that’s what I always heard.
And Texas, they seem to like him. Even if they got this other quarterback playin’ right now, they know Arch is special. He’s the future, maybe.
So, all this talk about him transferrin’… I don’t know. Seems like a lot of hot air to me. Just folks makin’ up stories, stirrin’ the pot.
He ain’t even played much yet, this Arch boy. Still learnin’, I reckon. Gotta give him time, ain’t that right? Can’t expect him to be a superstar overnight.
And them Mannin’s, they know a thing or two about football. They’ll guide him, help him make the right choices. They ain’t gonna let him just throw away his chance, I don’t think.
So, my advice? Don’t listen to all the gossip. This Arch boy, he’ll figure it out. He’ll do what’s best for him. And whether he stays at Texas or goes somewhere else, he’ll be alright.
He’s a Manning, after all. Got that football in his blood.
