Okay, so today I wanted to dig into the stats for the Atlanta Braves vs. Mets game. I’m a huge baseball fan, and I love seeing how players perform head-to-head.

Getting Started
First, I needed to find a good source for the data. I tried a few different sports websites, skimming box scores and game summaries, to gather detailed player statistics. I wanted something that was updated in real-time or at least very shortly after the game ended.
Collecting the Data
Once I found a good website, I started to manually pull the player stats. I’m lookin’ at things like:
- Batting: At-bats, runs, hits, RBIs, home runs, strikeouts, batting average… you know, the usual stuff.
- Pitching: Innings pitched, hits allowed, runs allowed, earned runs, strikeouts, walks, ERA… all that good stuff.
I wanted to grab the data for all the key players, not just the stars. The bench players can sometimes surprise you!
Organizing the Information
After I got all the stats I needed, I started organizing * first it was just a lot of copy and paste work, but once I was ready to make sence of the data, I decided to created a simple table.
This made it way easier to compare the players and see who had a good game and who maybe had a rough night. Simple and done!
Final Result!
In the end, I got to check the batting and pitching performance for each player in that Braves-Mets game. I can now see the numbers to back up my personal opinion on what I’ve watched!
