Okay, so I saw Becky Lynch’s killer “King and Queen of the Ring” outfit and I had to try and recreate it, at least the vibe of it, for a wrestling-themed party I was going to. It was a bit of a scramble, but fun!

Getting Started (And Feeling Totally Lost)
First, I spent like an hour just staring at pictures of the outfit online. I tried to break it down. What are the key pieces? It’s clearly got this regal, almost medieval, thing going on, but with Becky’s signature edge.
The Core Pieces
I decided the core elements were:
- A Crown: Obviously, it’s “King and Queen” themed, duh.
- Some Kind of Jacket/Cape Thing: It gave off major royal vibes.
- Black Base: Becky always rocks a lot of black, so that was a must.
- Studs/Metal Details: Adds that tough, “The Man” element.
Scavenging and Assembling
I hit up my closet first. I had a plain black tank top and some black leggings – score! That was the base sorted. Then, I remembered I had this old, faux leather jacket. It wasn’t perfect, but it was black and had a bit of a structured look. I figured I could work with it.
For the “cape” part, I was stumped for a bit. Then I found a long, black scarf with some fringe. It wasn’t quite the same, but I draped it over one shoulder and kind of pinned it to the jacket. It gave it a bit of that dramatic flow, you know?
The Crown Jewel (Literally)
The crown was the trickiest part. I didn’t have time to order anything fancy. I ended up going to a craft store and grabbing some gold-colored craft foam and some stick-on gems. I basically cut out a crown shape, glued it together, and stuck the gems on. It was super basic, but from a distance, it looked okay!
Adding the Edge
I also have some studded belt, I added those on the sholder,It could looks more cool!
The Final Look (And Party Time!)
Honestly, it wasn’t a perfect replica, not even close. But! It captured the spirit of Becky’s outfit. I felt pretty badass wearing it, and that’s what mattered. Everyone at the party got the reference, and I got a ton of compliments. It was a fun DIY project, even if it was a little last-minute and chaotic!
