Melodie, man, she’s a tough one in Brawl Stars. I spent days trying to figure out the best gear for her. It was a real struggle, I tell ya.
First, I jumped into a bunch of matches, trying different combinations. I started with the usual suspects – damage, health, you know, the basics. But something felt off. Melodie needs to be quick, especially in those bushy maps. So I started messing with the Speed gear.
- Experimenting with Gadgets: I tried out a few gadgets. Some were okay, but nothing really clicked until I landed on “Interlude.” It just felt right with her playstyle, giving her that extra bit of mobility and dodging ability.
- Star Powers: This one was a bit trickier. There are a couple of good ones, but “Fast Beats” ended up being my go-to. It just made her movement so much smoother, which is super important when you’re trying to stay alive and deal damage at the same time.
Mixing and Matching
So, after hours of playing and tweaking, I found a combo that works pretty darn well. The Speed gear is a must, especially if you’re in maps with lots of bushes. You can zip around, surprising enemies and dodging their attacks.
Then I started pairing it with different Star Powers and Gadgets. It wasn’t easy, but I learned a lot. The right combo really depends on your play style. But for me, combining “Interlude” with “Fast Beats” was a game-changer. Suddenly, Melodie felt more fluid, more responsive.
Different Modes, Different Gears
I also noticed that different game modes need different setups. Like, in Gem Grab, you might want to go for more survivability, but in Bounty, maybe damage is more important. It’s all about adapting.
So, I kept on experimenting. I would try different gears in different modes, make notes, and see what worked best. After many wins and many more losses, I finally felt like I had a good grasp on how to play Melodie.
Finally, I had a setup I was happy with, and I was ready to keep on playing and learning. And that’s where I am now. Still learning, still growing, and still having a blast with Melodie.
