Okay, so today I was messing around with the idea of a Bianca Belair heel turn. It’s something I’ve seen people talk about online, and I wanted to see what it would take to actually make it happen, at least in my own head.

Brainstorming a Heel Turn
First, I started by just thinking about Bianca’s current character. She’s super strong, super athletic, and the “EST of WWE” – the fastEST, strongEST, toughEST, all that. She’s a total babyface, always smiling and playing to the crowd.
So, to turn her heel, I knew I needed a good reason. It couldn’t just be random. It had to feel…justified, in a twisted sort of way.
- Maybe she gets screwed out of a title match, again? Like, really unfairly?
- Perhaps a new superstar comes in and starts stealing her spotlight?
- Or What about a long winning streak that leads to arrogance?
I jotted down all these possibilities. The “screwed over” angle felt a bit played out, but the other two had potential.
Fleshing Out the Scenario
I spent a little bit of time thinking how I could flesh out each scenario, and which one I could really make into something interesting.
I decided to go with the “arrogance” route. I imagined Bianca going on this insane winning streak, beating everyone clean. She starts cutting promos where she’s not just confident, but straight-up cocky. Like, “I’m the EST, no one can touch me, I’m above everyone else” kind of stuff.
Then, I pictured her starting to take shortcuts in matches. Maybe using the ropes for leverage on a pin, or faking an injury to get the upper hand. Little things at first, but gradually getting worse.
The Actual Turn
For the actual turn, I thought it would be best during a big match, maybe against a beloved babyface like Liv Morgan or even a returning Bayley. Bianca’s dominating, but the crowd is still behind the other wrestler.
So, Bianca gets frustrated. She hits her finisher, the KOD, but the opponent kicks out! The crowd goes wild! Bianca, for the first time in a long time, looks shocked, maybe even a little scared.

And that’s when it happens. She snaps. Maybe she grabs a chair, or uses her braid to choke her opponent. Something brutal and unexpected. The ref calls for the DQ, but Bianca doesn’t care. She’s just unleashing this pent-up rage and frustration.
The Aftermath
After that, I figured her promos would be all about how she’s been carrying the division, how the fans never appreciated her, and how she’s going to do whatever it takes to stay on top, even if it means being the bad guy.
I even toyed with the idea of her forming a stable with other underappreciated wrestlers, a group of heels who feel like they’ve been overlooked. That’s a whole other rabbit hole to go down, though!
It was a fun little exercise. It’s always interesting to take a character you know and try to flip them on their head. Who knows if WWE will ever actually turn Bianca heel, but it’s definitely something to think about!
