So, I was scrolling through my Instagram the other day, and a post caught my eye. It was about Billie Kay, you know, the wrestler. I was like, “Hold up, didn’t she retire?”
It got me thinking, so I started digging around. Turns out, her real name is Jessica McKay, and she used to be part of this tag team in WWE called The IIconics. I remember them, they were pretty cool, always making a scene. They even won some championship at WrestleMania once. Anyway, WWE let them go a few years back, which was a bummer.
But here’s the kicker, this Jessica, or Billie, she just had a baby! A little boy named Cooper. She posted about it, and he’s adorable. I went down a rabbit hole and found out she’s been married since, like, forever, but they kept it on the down-low. She only announced she was pregnant last year.
Life After Wrestling
- Married her long-time boyfriend in 2015.
- Announced her pregnancy in June 2023.
- Gave birth to her son, Cooper, in December 2023.
Then I found out that after WWE, she and her tag team partner, Peyton Royce, they kept wrestling together! I guess you can’t keep a good team down. They broke up in WWE because they lost some match to another team, The Riott Squad, I think. But outside of WWE, they’re still going strong.
It’s wild how these wrestlers have these whole lives outside the ring. You see them on TV, all tough and fierce, and then they’re posting baby pics and having a regular life. It just goes to show, there’s always more than meets the eye. Anyway, that’s my little deep dive into Billie Kay’s life. Thought I’d share!
