Okay, so I was trying to solve this crossword puzzle, and one of the clues was “boxer de la hoya.” I was like, “Alright, boxing, I know a little about that.”
First, I racked my brain trying to remember any famous boxers. I came up with the obvious ones, like Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson. But none of them seemed to fit, and “de la hoya” sounded… different.
Getting My Hands Dirty
So, I decided to, you know, just put it out there to the internet. I typed “boxer de la hoya” in the search bar.
- I scrolled through some images, and, boom, there he was – Oscar De La Hoya.
- It clicked immediately. “The Golden Boy,” right? I’d heard that nickname before.
I went back to my crossword and filled in the answer. It felt good, like I’d actually accomplished something.
It was a classic case of something being on the tip of my tongue. I learned to always search it and find it with my own hands if i get stuck!
