Okay, so today I messed around with something called “Brandon Spikes.” Honestly, I didn’t even know what it was at first, just saw the name and thought, “Sounds cool, let’s try it.”

First thing I did was hit up Google. Typed in “Brandon Spikes” and…well, it’s mostly about some football player. Not what I was looking for. I needed to dig a bit deeper.
After some more searching, found out it’s related to, like, a training method or exercise routine. I’m all about trying new workouts, so I kept going.
Figuring Out the Basics
From what I could gather, it seemed to involve a lot of explosive movements. Think jumps, sprints, and stuff like that. Sounds tough, but hey, I’m up for a challenge.
I watched a couple of videos. These guys, man, they were intense. Super athletic, moving with a lot of power. I was starting to get a little intimidated, not gonna lie.
My First Attempt
I cleared out some space in my living room – almost took out a lamp, that was close. Started with some warm-ups, you know, gotta get the blood flowing. High knees, butt kicks, the usual.
- Warm-up:
- High Knees (30 seconds)
- Butt Kicks (30 seconds)
- Jumping Jacks (30 seconds)
Then I tried some basic jumps. Just simple squat jumps, trying to explode upwards. Felt kinda awkward at first, like a baby giraffe learning to walk. But I kept at it.
- Squat Jumps: 3 sets of 10 reps. It was brutal!
Next, I added in some short sprints. Back and forth across the room. My dog was looking at me like I was crazy. He probably was right.
- Sprints:
- Back and forth across the room (about 10 times).
The Aftermath
Okay, so I didn’t do a full “Brandon Spikes” workout. I just tried some of the basic movements. And let me tell you, even that was enough to kick my butt.

I was sweating like crazy, my legs were burning, and I was definitely feeling it. But it was a good kind of pain, you know? Like I actually did something.
I’m definitely going to keep experimenting with this. Maybe not the full-blown routine, but incorporating some of these explosive movements into my regular workouts. It’s a good way to mix things up and challenge myself.
So, yeah, that was my adventure with “Brandon Spikes” today. Pretty fun, pretty tiring, and definitely something I’ll be doing again. Just gotta make sure I don’t break any more furniture next time.
