Okay, so I’ve been wanting a Chan Ho Park jersey for a while now. He’s a legend, the first South Korean to play in the MLB, and I just had to have a piece of that history. Plus, he played for both the Dodgers and the Padres, which is pretty cool. I started my hunt online, not really knowing where to start.
First, I hit up eBay. I figured it’s the go-to place for this kind of stuff. I typed in “Chan Ho Park jersey” in the search bar and boom, a bunch of listings popped up. I scrolled through them, checking out the different options. There were a lot of different sellers, different sizes, and some were even autographed! Prices were all over the place, too. Some were pretty cheap, others, especially the signed ones, were a bit more expensive.
I saw a few that caught my eye. One was a grey Dodgers jersey, size 44, from Russell Athletic. The seller said they got it from a big collection, and they’ve been in the business since 1987. Sounded legit. Another one was a signed Dodgers jersey, size 48, also from Russell Athletic. The autograph looked good, but it was a bit out of my price range.
Then I found a Majestic replica jersey, a home Dodgers one, size medium. The seller said they bought it about 10 years ago for 100 bucks, and it was in great condition, no tears or holes. This one seemed like a good deal, especially since I was mostly looking for something to wear and show off, not necessarily a collector’s item.
I also learned a bit more about Chan Ho Park himself. I read that he’s going to be throwing the first pitch at the Seoul Series, which is the first-ever MLB regular-season game in South Korea. That’s a big deal! It made me even more excited to get my hands on a jersey.
I ended up going for the Majestic replica jersey. It was a good price, in good condition, and I liked the idea of wearing a replica of the jersey he wore during his time with the Dodgers. The seller, “Mostly Deals, Inc.”, seemed to specialize in buying overstock or items from stores going out of business, so I felt like I was getting a good deal.
Here’s what I did step-by-step:
- Searched “Chan Ho Park jersey” on eBay.
- Filtered through the results, looking at different sellers, sizes, and conditions.
- Compared prices and read descriptions carefully.
- Narrowed down my choices to a few that I liked.
- Read some articles about Chan Ho Park to learn more about him.
- Decided on the Majestic replica jersey.
- Purchased the jersey from the seller “Mostly Deals, Inc.”.
I’m still waiting for it to arrive, but I’m super stoked! I can’t wait to wear it and represent a true baseball legend. It wasn’t too hard to find, to be honest, just had to dig through eBay a bit and make sure I was getting a decent deal from a reliable seller. I’ll definitely be wearing this when I watch the Seoul Series! Maybe I’ll post a picture once I get it.
