Alright, listen up, y’all. Let me tell ya somethin’ about this here WWE Alexandria LA thing. It’s a rasslin’ show, you know, like those fellas on TV? Big muscles, fancy costumes, yellin’ and slammin’ each other around.
So, this WWE Road to WrestleMania, they call it, it’s comin’ to Alexandria, Louisiana. That’s right here, not far from where I’m sittin’. They gonna be at the Rapides Parish Coliseum. Big place, lots of seats. I reckon you could fit a whole lotta folks in there.
They sayin’ it’s on Saturday, March 9th, 2024. That ain’t too far off now, is it? Gotta mark that on the calendar, if you’re into that kinda thing. Show starts at 7:30 PM, so you got plenty of time to get your chores done and get yourself over there.
- First off, you gotta get them tickets. They sellin’ ’em on somethin’ called Ticketmaster, whatever that is. Sounds fancy. I reckon you can find it on that internet thingamajig, if you know how to use it. I sure don’t. My grandkids do, though, maybe they can help me out.
- Then, you gotta figure out how to get there. They say it’s at the Rapides Parish Coliseum, on Coliseum Boulevard. Sounds like a big road. You probably can’t miss it. I hear tell they got plenty of parking, so you don’t gotta worry about walkin’ too far. That’s good, ’cause my old bones ain’t what they used to be.
- And, they sayin’ you can get food there too. Hot dogs, popcorn, maybe even some of them fancy nachos. That’s good, ’cause watchin’ all that rasslin’ can make a person hungry.
Now, who’s gonna be there? Well, they sayin’ all sorts of big names. Cody Rhodes, that fella they call the American Nightmare, he’s gonna be there. And that fella GUNTHER, the one with the big ol’ muscles. He’s the World Heavyweight Champion, they say. And then there’s Liv Morgan, she’s a tough one, the Women’s World Champion. Seth Rollins, that crazy fella, he’ll be there too. And Rhea Ripley, she’s a real firecracker. Don’t forget about Drew McIntyre, he’s a big fella, strong as an ox. And those lady tag team champions, they’ll be there too.
Sounds like a whole lotta rasslin’ goin’ on. I tell you what, it’s gonna be loud. All that yellin’ and stompin’ and slammin’. But folks seem to like it. They cheer and they boo and they have a grand ol’ time. I reckon it’s just somethin’ to do, get out of the house, see somethin’ different.
They sayin’ this WWE Road to WrestleMania show is a big deal. It’s like a warm-up for the even bigger show, WrestleMania. That’s the granddaddy of ’em all, they say. But this one in Alexandria, it’s a chance to see all them stars up close and personal. Before they go off to the big time.
I don’t know much about rasslin’, to be honest. Seems kinda silly to me, all that pretend fightin’. But folks enjoy it, and that’s what matters. And I reckon it’s good for Alexandria, bringin’ in all them people, spendin’ their money. That’s good for the town, you know? Keeps things goin’.
So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to do on Saturday, March 9th, and you don’t mind a little bit of noise and a whole lotta fake punches, then maybe you should check out this WWE Alexandria LA show. It might just be a hoot. And hey, you might even see me there. I’ll be the one in the back, shakin’ my head and wonderin’ what all the fuss is about. But hey, at least I’ll be out of the house, right?
They’ve done this show before in Alexandria, seems like it comes around every now and then. So, if you miss this one, don’t you fret none, I bet they’ll be back again before too long. Wrestling folks seem to like coming to our little town.
