Okay, so, let’s talk about my little adventure figuring out what’s in Chris Kirk’s golf bag, yeah? I’ve been following this guy for a while, and his recent win at The Sentry really got me curious about his gear.
I started by, you know, just poking around the internet. Just trying to see what I could dig up. Found out that Chris won using this new Odyssey putter, the Ai-One Milled Six T CH. Sounds fancy, right? It’s a mid-mallet, which I guess is a good thing, not really my area of expertise.
Then I went a bit deeper. I mean, a golfer is more than just his putter. So I kept digging. Turns out, Chris is kind of a Callaway guy. Not all the way, but mostly. He’s got this 10-club deal with them. You’d think they’d just give him the whole shebang, but whatever, it’s cool.
So, what did I find in his Callaway collection? Well, for starters, he’s got this Callaway Paradym Ai-Smoke Triple Diamond driver. That’s a mouthful! It’s 9 degrees, which I think means something about the loft… And it’s got a Fujikura Ventus Blue 6 TX shaft. I’m guessing that’s pretty important for his swing, but honestly, shaft talk just makes my head spin.
- Driver: Callaway Paradym Ai-Smoke Triple Diamond (9 degrees)
- Shaft: Fujikura Ventus Blue 6 TX
Then there are his irons. He rocks the Callaway Apex MB irons. Don’t ask me what that means, just that they looked shiny and probably cost more than my whole set.
Putting it all together
I felt pretty good about my little investigation. It wasn’t easy, piecing all this stuff together from different places, but it was fun. Like being a detective, but for golf gear. Now, I’m not saying I’m gonna go out and buy all this stuff. I’m not Chris Kirk, and my handicap is, well, let’s just say it’s higher than his score at The Sentry. But it’s cool to know what the pros are using, right? Maybe one day, I will improve my skills and try these.
Anyway, that’s my story. Just wanted to share my little journey into Chris Kirk’s golf bag. Hope you found it, at least a little bit, interesting.
